Hello all, im planning to turn my 40g breeder into a SW tank is the next month..or so. Ive a total newb when it comes to SW but ive been doing alot of reaserch. Problem is the fish. Im planning ahead on what i want to stock the tank with. Im looking at the following so far....

White-Tailed Damselfish - Dascyllus aruanus
Black Capped Gramma - Gramma melacara
Banggai Cardinal Fish - Pterapogon kauderni
Sunshine Chromis - Chromis insolata

....and some kind a clownfish. Now is that to much for the tank? or can i add more, if so how much more and any suggestions. The tank will have one (possibly two) AC110, a skimmer of some sort and a power head or two.

Thanks for any possible help.

IMO you dont need 2 ac110's. with a skimmer one would be more then plenty. your stocking looks good but i dont know much about the black capped gramma. i would imagine it had the same temperment as the royal gramma but again im not sure. i would also watch out for the damsels harassing the cardinals. and i believe clowns, damsels and chormises are all the same family, im not sure? and if they are your might get a lot of fighting between them

i would ditch the card as the gramma and damsel will be much more bold fish in general, i doubt that the card will thrive in a tank with them, decide which you want more and go with that. and i would lose the chromis if you do the clown, they like groups that you can't provide for with this stocking/tank.
