I Have a Trimac(M) and a Red Devil(F) Breed.
Are the young considered flowerhorns and if so what will they be called.

No they would not be flowerhorns. You could call them anything I guess It took years of select breeding to get flowerhorns. They have a lot of different genetic "parents". To be a "new" breed then all of the offspring must turn out similiar to each other. Your fry you will have some that look more like a Trimac and then you will have some that looks more like the Red Devil and then they will be the fry that have a mixed look.

No, Flowerhorns now are breed like any other fish. You have a male flowerhorn and a female flowerhorn. The flowerhorn was created throught the process of breeding several species of new world cichlids togeather and keeping the offspring that had the desired trait ( long fins; red color; good flowerline) The newer strains of flowerhorns focus mainly on intense color ; long fins; kok and pearls. Flowerhorns are almost at the point were you could not really call them hybrids( yes they are still hybrids in the fact that they do not occur naturally in the wild and that they have been bred by man), anymore because they will breed and have fertile offspring.

Well you won't know if they are flowerhorns until they get bigger now will you. Because that red devil might be a flowerhorn. haha. Oh, and wait that Trimac might be one too. haha again.

They could be considered a low grade home made Flower Horn.

To me a flowerhorn is a mutt fish that's no different than someone breeding two species together in their home aquarium. True, the flowerhorn is fertile and breeds to other flowerhorns, but they're still a home grown hybrid and they just don't have what the pure parents species have...natural beauty.

Wahoo!! Its not locked!! I can add my worthless moronic two cents! WOOT!! Aight, what you should do with those fry from your Trimac/Red Devil is keep the ones you like, pick a certain trait...like more red, longer fins, varied pattern...then grow those ones out and breed them to the mother. And continue this process until you have singled out the desired traits that you want. Genetics are soo kewl...love them. I know someone that used to do it for angels...controlled inbreedin and all...got some REALLY pimp results! Fish are great for this since they breed so regularly...:D

And what would he do with those thousands of fry? Cull them all? Or worse, sell them as something they are not and flood the market? Bad idea imo, unless he has tons of tanks and has not qualms about killing hundreds if not thousands of fish to make his own cheap quality FHs...

I would give them away to friends and hobbyists that I knew wouldn't attempt to breed them and just wanted a pretty fish. As far as selling them, you could but I dunno what you'd get for them. I wouldn't mind seeing a pic of this hybrid, though. :)
