Looks great bro. Where do you get your tanks from?
the large 4ft wide tank was custom made by a guy, then he ended up having to move so I bought it from him before he even got to set it up...the others I get through a local friend who supplies the pittsburgh zoo with their fish ect...get them at a better price through him than buying through a LFS or having one shipped directly...plus he can get me oddball sizes like the 265 ect..

Thanks man,
I've been thinking about doing a 6x4 or 8x4, but not many places to go for that big of a footprint.

I like the height due to the fact it doesnt confine a big fish to the lower strata and allows them to flip, roll,or rocket to the surface...with a shorter tank you basically confine a large fish to simply turning around or getting a half hearted 45* angle before reaching the surface....so simply I like to allow upward movement and once you see a large peacock roll the surface from coming from below you wont go back...lol
I will get a vid up soon explaing all the filtration systems...I custom build all my filtration systems to fit what I want in the tank and what I want them to do, so it will be easier to explin via video than type to photos...coming soon.
thanks for all the nice comments...and to answer an earlier question-2nd pic is cichla orinocensis..aka Orino peacock bass ;)

Nice tanks Scott. I don't know how you prevent your huge cats from tearing up the decor.

They go to DMs obedience school :D actually that tank is so big they have alot more room to move than it looks...draw a square on the floor thats 6ftl x 4ft wide then figure its 3ft high...there is alot of moving room...they dont bump into anything.

haaaaaa I did man...fkr cracked!! was a factory defect, so now I am waiting on a replacement to get here on tuesday...so I am a bit delayed...and a bit pi$$ed off as I had all the plumbing glued in ect...so now(its a bottom drilled tank) I am just cutting the pipes loose and they can take it with them hanging from the tank...not my problem now:irked: once I get it on tuesday I should have it filled by thursday:naughty:
That sucks about having it all plumbed then cracked. Great pics though :headbang2
