Same as hith :)
I don't know the meaning of "hith" but i think you mean the scars.. one of the owners before had a group of them and they all died except of him. I hope in a few months he won't have the scars any more.. but he's healthy and I hope I'll find a female for him.
Oh - i forgot - thanks everybody.
Sorry, I understood you wrong.
The Uaru hasn't a disease. If you keep these species in a "bad" water they get wholes und scarbs. One of the owners before did that and in my water (PH 6,2) the scarbs are healing.
amazing, it's really rare to see that particular species of severum and uaru!!
I've never seen either, very cool!

Hith = Hole in the head or lateral line disease :) And it looks just like yours :) And better conditions and diet seem to arrest it and heal up the affected specimen :)
No big deal. But it does have HITH/Later line. And if it is healing :) You are right the scars will go away :) This is a GIVEN :)
Still That UARU is a rare find in home aquaria lately :) I've been saving for a PAIR for about 6 mo's :) but you know how saving goes LOL :)
