No, for many reasons, nto the least of which is that the puffer is brackish and the aro is not.

lol im more concern about puffer nipping on my arowan's tail and fin. I guess its a bad idea since so many of you mention puffer snack .. i dont want my arowana to die from poisoning lol

The answer is unanimus, it's not a good idea. I happen to know from experience however that puffers do not make a poping sound LOL. Unfortunately I had a green spotted and a fahaka, and the fahaka decided after a month he was tired of seeing the spotted buzz around the same tank. After several attempts to eat him, the fahaka settled for just killing him. Even a puffers beak couldn't break the skin, it did do a lot of internal damage though. I actually really liked that little guy :(
