I know it says I need atleast 5 posts to become a full member, I was wondering if by posts it means threads and replying to threats or if there is something totally different that I have yet to discover?

I know some forums dont count(lounge,introduce yourself) but there seems to be some other rules about which posts count,like if I post once in a thread it counts but if i post again later in the same thread my count doesnt go up.And Im not sure but it seems to be that if you quote someone your count doesnt go up.

and it is posts, not making new threads though they do count as well.
also when you quote someone it counts as well.

a post or reply in the lounge section does not count, and posting a reply in the introduce doesnt count as well. we also have certain filters installed and some staff are on the lookout for spam posts.. when we see them or when
the filter does, the post counts are deducted.

But lets not concentrate on post counts .. lets just mingle around ,ask questions ..just do what comes naturally and you will be able to see the pics and all the features before you know it.

I am so pissed. I got the edit function, i got the pics, I got the decals, and I have entered contests. But I am not SEXIER. In fact, I haven't gotten any action since my birthday (december). I want a refund of my membership fee! :ROFL:

Okay, this 5 post thing is a bit of an iritation, BUT, if it must be done it must be done. Many other forums i have been on have had certain levels you must get to to have full access, i've seen some with a 500 post level for certain sections, so this really isn't that bad.

Your post count shows under your username/avatar as long as you post in threads that count. Some don't and they are labeled.

No worries. Your post count will always show under your avatar, it's just that some threads don't count towards your post count. Unless it's been changed, the "Lounge" and others will not increase your count.

So here goes, I did the intro thing with a short bio and lots of well wishers answering. I have been less active here than in other places because I really don't understand the "monster" aspect but have a large aquarium and an even larger curiousity about fish. I just got suprised by my kribensis and as my wife put it, I am now a grandpa.
