I got a large mudskipper from work a couple weeks back and I have to say--it is one kicka** fish!! It not only has the looks of a monster (think, two protruding fangs on bottom jaw, bug eyes), but it has an awesome attitude. I will literally leap straight out of the water when it sees me, will eat crickets right out of my hand (8" above the water!), and will bite the screen cover if I rest my hand on it. Anyone alse ever keep these amazing fish? Let's see some pics if you have-

Keep two "barbatus" mudskippers at work, a max of two and a half inches each. They'll take pellets out of my hand.

You just need a bigger tank.

Wow, these fish sound awesome. It sounds like the one true fish that you can take out of the tank and bring him for a walk without him dying, ha. Glad to see you are enjoyng your fish...goodluck with your camera and computer, although I like guppy, I have no clue what his suggestion about getting a bigger tank has to do with anything

We have a 60gal glass tank setup as a mudskipper tank. We used live sand, driftwood and 5 red mangroves that have grown over 16" each to build a tidepool setup. The mudskippers will live with Red Fiddler Crabs or Blue Crabs. If you raise your salinity to 1.020 to 1.021 you can use hermit crabs for algae control. Good luck!
