I can not see it perfectly. It to me looks like a open wound that became infected. Keep the water clean, add a little salt and maybe some tetracycline to help with the infection.

that was the best shot i could get of it,hes camera shy.its starting to blend in now and also starting to shrink

If it gets fungus on it net the fish and put a little iodine, or malichite green on it.
