dont they only eat plankton, how did u catch one? i might be wrong
I have seen Paddlefish at an LFS here. They are a poor choice for aquaria. They don't do well with corners and water quality is a major concern. Typically you need a large, round tank for them to prosper.

Some members here have kept them very well in kiddy pools (i think i read that?)
Oddball has probably kept them well (did you have an albino Oddy?)
Cool Fish!
Wish I had a 1000g acrylic cylinder laying around...

they get up to 200lbs
they eat anything suspended in the water. they swim around with their mouths open and catch anything that fits. we snag them here( or used to til they made the rules so confusing im afriad to fish)

are the american paddlefish legal to own in Florida? Also, if they are any of you know where I could buy one?
Can someone post pics of one in a tank please, I would really appreciate it.
