New Loaches

Hope I don't kill these.
They're in with baby dat, an Eel, and Fig 8's and Amazon Puffies.
They're about 4-5 inches.
I hope their color comes back soon, I got 'em 3 days ago, and this is as soon as I put them in the tank.




 
Clown loaches are awsome, that one looks pretty big in the last pick. When they color up I bet they will look really nice!! =)
 
SEXY!! I LOVE Clown Loaches! If they weren't so sensative to ich...oooo doggy! You got some NICE sized ones as well! Score! How many did you get? I saw a group (10) of 8" clown loaches in a display tank once...WOW.....they were spectacular! Definately one of the kewler fishies out there! Watch out for that eye spine though, SUCKs to get nailed by it...lol....

I got 3, I'm going to probably get like 6 more.
I love them.
I lost my batch of 28 to ich.
hmph.
It was a sad day.
 
SHIZET!! 28!! LoL!! That woulda been AWESOME TO SEE! I had a batch of 12 of them...lost them to ich as well! SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED! They were soo pimp...loved them. Wanna get more soo bad. It was funny...one day i woke up and couldn't find them anywhere, i thought they had jumped or sumptin but i couldn't find them. Finally I looked in my canister filter...well what'do ya know...i had 12 clown loaches swimmin around happily in my canister filter...I took pictures...can't find them now. Sooo relieved they were alright!
 
i didnt let my loaches die of ich without a fight!!!

now their all better and weve WON!! :woot:

now i supplement theri diet with a cocktail of vita chem, zoe, and garlic guard

best health and coloration ive ever seen them at :thumbsup:

plus i kee pthe temp at about 83 :headbang2
 
Yeah, I'm gonna try boostin the higher temps when i get them again....lol...I've got all my tankz at AT LEAST 83 degrees right now...so tis all good to go. Where can i get those other supplements though is the question. Also, would salt treatment work for them? I know the meds are out....:(....just wish there was some way i could fight it if it did come!

Loaches look great so far an will only get better with time. :thumbsup:
