they get extremely territorial when breeding, and depending on the dimentions of your 120, it most likely won't be able to hold dithers with them, the best dither with a breeding pair, is IME, a very strong divider. i've had 14" males knock down some strong ones, so if there haveing problems keep one on hand, other than that i wouldn't add any fish, i keep one oscar with mine in a 6'x18", and he definetly gets into some bad fights when there breeding. everything else that i've tried to mix with them, under 12" dies in a couple days. so i wouldn't bother.

the last fish i tried was an 11" umbee to give you an idea.

is right, with a pair you are going to have issues, now my cubans, who have shown more aggression then my Jags, have been dithered successfully with Silver Dollars.......But that is just my experience........

i also have found that when starting out a breeding pair, dividers are almost always needed, many of my females scrap and scrap at males, to make sure there ready for breeding, but it can get somewhat dangeous to the males as there scars can get pretty deep, after about 2-3 succesful spawns they mellow out at eachother though, and foucus on killing anything near they fry., i've had some funny momments in which my o would be eat fry as they swam close to him, and then sorta give the jaguars a look like he isn't doing anything, and goes back to his eating, until the pair puts an end to that.

Alright then, i already have a divider i just wanted to know if dithers would work. But the majority rules, no dithers it is. ill just toss in the divider if things get too rough. Thank you all for the help and information.
