My tank with little (10-11cm) Channa pleurophthalma and 9cm bleheri.

They will swim together about one mounth and then Ch. pleurophthalma will be in another tank.

I'm so sad :( :(
I went for a few days, and when i was return to my home I saw only my pleuro. It kills bleheri :( f.u.c.k. It is strangly becouse I trough into my tank a lot of small fish. Pleuro eats all the fish and then kill bleheri:( but it doesn,t eat my little 3-4cm catfish.

I'd also watch out for your catfish. If the pleuro does try to eat it, it may get stuck or caught up in the pleuro's mouth. Because of the cat's bony spike body... very possible to kill and lose both fish!! :uhoh:

catfish grows faster than pleuro, so i don't afraid about him channas kill only fish who is smaler than channa.

Very smart pluero. The cat, has it got very tough spikey fins?

I never mix small catfish for worry of them lodging in the a preds mouth.

I'm also sorry for your loss. But move the cat just incase the Pleuro is silly.

You take some nice photos, next time turn the powerhead off, then you won't have the bubbles affecting your pics!

BTW. I bought pseudoplatystoma today :)

it's a bluish green and sometimes yellow that pic looks like the one koji has right now..some of them even have black lips like whitelineracers...i think that pleuro's develop different colors...

But yesterday I bought stewartii :) :) it's very nice fish :)

Small, at around 4 inches you could see one was going blue the other remained green.

little set up. My pleuro stopped eat live food for two weeks ,so she grows slow, now it si normaly one fish per day .

A month ago I bought what I thought was 3 Ch. Pleuro... but It turned out to be Ch. marulius instead.. also cool but just grows too large - so now I've sold them :(

Still would like a couple of Pleuro's though... :D
