would be like cheating.
I thought some looked to good....like professional photos.

Rules do not state that it is prohibited to enter photos copied from the net(not sure why someone would though). The contest is opened to all MFK members even those that are proffessional photographers. As for photo shopping, you can only make a crappy photo a little more exceptable with photo shop, a good photo is a good photo and you can then do very little with photo shop(rules state that adjustable levels are ok here also).

I guess if you want to consider some of the photos entered as cheaters well then that is your choice, and I'm sure you can post your opinion to which they are, or just not vote for them.

~Photo Requirements~

- Photo must be a minimum of 600 pixels in length and 300 pixels in width. Higher resolutions are more desirable.

- Quality of photo is to be determined by Aquaria Central & Monster Fish Keepers Staff Team.

- No cut and paste... adjustable levels are allowed.

Photo of the Month Contest will only admit aquatic-related animal/plant photos. Subject(s) can be any or any combination of the following:

- Fishes
- Invertebrates
- Reptiles
- Amphibians
- Mammals
- Plants

Please be advised, that invertebrates, reptiles, mammals and/or plants that are not aquatic-related will not be considered for admission.

All candidates must adhere to the following:

Nah, she was moved there for the seperation of herself and other rays. She wasl put back into the main tank (with fine sand) after parturition. No need to worry, I take very good care of my animals.:)
