I have checked about 50 fishstores in LA area all they have are ghost, clown, and royal knifefish. Any one have an idea where i can get something rarer like a glass, banded, tiger, or zebra knifefish. please help mike

Talk to an online Importer that works with Peru.. There is about 20 species available for Export from Peru, but only 1 is profitable (BGK)..

It sucks that you are on the other coast. I have a 2 inch banded knife and a 6 inch zebra knife in stock at my lfs. I have never seen them before getting them in. They are pretty cool. I understand why you are looking for one.

i just picked up my beautiful banded knife from exotic life. in canoga park it was a rare find but the colors are very definate its about 9 inches.. if u are really intersted in purchasing one look on www.riverwonders.com they are a bit pricey but have banded knife fish
