I was wondering if anyone had used this combination. I don't want to over medicate my fish but recently an oscar I have started lying on the bottom of the tank restless and doing nothing for a few days. Every now and then he comes to the top to eat, but it seems as though he has some sort of internal bacteria infection as there are no visible signs of anything externally. I was thinking using a combination of all three any other suggestions? As far as the quality of my water, its tip top, everything within spec and then some, so thats how I got to the conclusion of it having to be an internal infection

i am not sure of the specifics of the maracyn products, but from what i gather they are very strong antibacterial medications. i would be wary of using them for an undiagnosed illness because of the risk of killing off your bio-filter at the same time. if the maracyn doesn't cure the disease (viral, funal, or parasitic instead of bacterial), you still have a sick fish plus a newly uncycled tank. please correct me if i'm wrong.

I have used maracyn, maracyn 2, pima, and mela all at the same time with a severum and she was fine. Healed her up right nicely too! :-)

Incase you didnt relize, oscars do sometimes lay at the bottom of there tank from boredom, try throwing in a ping pong to see if that livens him up at all. Also how big is he?
