can i have 10 buble bee gobies in a 10gallon by them selfs??

i was thinking of puting 8 or so bubble gobies into my 20gallon. woul di be able to do this. i have a bio whell(sp) filter in there right now no heat i yet. can i use gravel. any help wpuld be apprated(sp)
 
srry it will be a 20gallon i poste the wrong tank size.
 
You should be able to if you are talking about the Brachygobius xanthazona

mine always did alright with gravel but it does make them harder to find. on the other hand if you have 10 you know at least a few will be in view at all times
