We brought back several Carpinte "Rio Verde" from Media Luna. This is the Hericthys fish that is cross breeding with the Yellow labridens. This is a male about 5".

Yellow lab and carpinte? Any successful breeding?

Yes, way too much of it. The yellow labs are being slowly bred out of existence in their natural habitat.

Are you referring to with each other or individually?

MDH...In the past I generally just fed the fry to my grow outs. I am hoping to have an open grow out tank for a batch or two. I have three one inch (?) juveniles from this pair right now.

I just re-read my post. When I said cross breeding...I meant in the wild at Media Luna. All of the fish I own are in seperate tanks to prevent a disaster.

very nice, congrats
