i just added the marulius, and it was a bit tripped out to the new tank.
10 mins later he bonds with the pair of lucius, and they are like a pack.
nice babies!
Those two marble plates could hold the tank up? Thought it would break...

the albino striata i have claims the tank. he just bit bigget than the others. he is aggressive, and he does bite and snap at fins and stuff. the smallest lucius gets harrassed, but he seems fine these days.
the marulius got a few snaps at him when i first put him in (yesterday), i saw him get snapped in the face, but it didnt even flinch. he later received a bigger bite on his body, but just a scratch really. the marulius isnt even concerned it seems. it's so relaxed, and just does it's thing, even with the striata claiming territory. the striatas accuracy is not leathal at all, and i think the others are not concerned about it. yet, at least.
oh and thanks for the compliments. fish photo graphy is a tricky!

i'm really starting to think yours is a micropeltes... whats its size now?

Contender, its DEFINITELY not micropeltes. Very different tail, this has a big rounded tail, micropeltes has an oblong tail.
Also very different face and eyes.
I also have a micropeltes at 6 inches, which is very placid, not aggressive at all.
My striata is just a beast. The other day it had an 11/12 inch endlicheri's head in it's mouth, shaking it around, and it's only 7.5 inches. It's just an insane fish.
oh my god, contender, i miss my marulius SO MUCH. i wonder how big it is now. how big is yours?
