im am getting a jag and a female festae, both are known to be pretty agressive. any cats you would sugest for this type of tank? its only a 90 but an upgrade in about a year to a 150 maybe 180. its a plus if it is an easier cat to find.

yes and limas might not be good they really can't do much but swim away i'd try a four line catfish or another active catfish that can swim away FAST because it will need to with those tankmates

well the jag shouldnt bother the Limas, my 7" jag never touched them. the gulper was a joke, as he would eat the jag and festae. My gulper has already eaten TWO jags

Yeah four lined pimalodis (spelling?) may be a good choice. Like he said, they are active. Also, I had a large one for a while, and he was kinda aggressive and could really hold his own.

i recently thought of my ideal 125g-180g tank. what i came up with is a perruno, two jags, an albino tiger oscar, and a black tiger oscar. it's the most beautiful tank in my mind that i could think of. so my suggestion is to try a perruno or leiarius pictus (basically same fish) they're great and should be fine with the jag and festae. i would worry more about the two cichlids fighting than anything. gl

they will out grow your tank proubly will be able to hold its own we'll enough but my catc still have scars from my cichlids when not fighting other cichlids there pushing my cats out of the way and leiarius pictus can get 30'' and need a spachious tank they get VERY stressed when they can't freely streach out there barbles and will slam into the side of there tank
