Help ID please

Hello, I bought this fish from my lfs today. The owner there said that it is a catfish from Africa and that the care for it is similar to a synodontis so I figured I'd pick it up since it looks cool. They called it a Salaureen Clown Loach and I can see why, it does kinda look like one. So I Google that name but nothing comes up. Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

can't really te'll any more pics from it out of the bag but it can't be it couldn't be or could it did someone finally find a royal clown loach!!!!!!

No no, it's definitely not a royal clown loach, it is a type of catfish, as far as I can tell.

I've had them in the store years ago, I think we called them Panda cats or sumsuch, and while I can't remember specifics, I do recall that they were fairly undemanding. Does well in highly oxygenated water.
