Quarantine Tank
Whats the heaviest thing you've seen your aro move from jumping?

Please share the size of the aro, how many pounds it moved (or the object), if it made it out of the tank and if it survived!

:)

I've seen a video were a 27" Jardini jumps out of a 247G tank with no lid, but a fully enclosed hood. As it jumped the hood lifted up, the aro landed on the ground and flipped and flopped all the way to an open inground pond, indoors. Amazing stuff, but unfortuantely I dont know the URL of the video.

my 30 inch arow broke cleanly through steel mesh and plastic net (double layer) wen he jumped out of the fibre glass tank. pure power. i dont think i could punch through that

i've had my aro's toss open lids that had tons of books on top of them. he was like 2ft almost and the books weighd maybe a couple pounds.

Heaviest thing I have seen an aro move, hmm... I have seen a couple of bricks knocked off the lid, but the fish in question never actually got the lid off.

i had a 22 inch silver in the past that never jumped and i have a 20 inche silver now the never jumped. i also have a 9-10 inch jar that hasnt jumped. so far i guess im lucky. the silver would have to jump through the glass lids and then through a oak canopy. i dont see that happening.

plastic net's believable but steel mesh? as in seriously??

Lately, the staff are being asked to clean up way too many threads. And, we're seeing the same names that need cleaning up.
If you want to banter with off-topic BS, use the PM system or find an inane chatroom elsewhere. On this site, keep the posts ON TOPIC.
Once we're fed up with seeing the same names causing the staff extra work...
