nice nice thanks for the heads up. guess i cant really risk putting it in my pond...sigh...ill throw sum silvers in though. see wat happens 
my new one keeps trying to bang the glass. Hes jumpin every night when i go to bed. Doin my titts in listening to him slaming the lid
hes in a small tank now untill i get some size on it. Dont want him to become fish food as my old one RIP... And yeah i got stuff on the glass to be sure.

Thats's definitely a good move. A lot of the time if an aro is in a smaller tank they tend to jump more...especially when spooked. When they try to make their getaway, and they realize they don't have a lot of open swimming space...they head for the sky.
so i guess the ultimate question i shud ask u guys is whether u would risk putting a jardini in an open pond. judging by my pond measurements....
