In A week or so i will be adding a Red devil and an Oscar who are buddies..they are about 7 inches ..they better leave my CK alone.. makes me nervous..:confused:

I don't know if anybody else noticed this, but when a CK is happy, it almost looks like they're smiling!!

Looks good Liz, that knife is really growing. We sell those logs so I know how big that is. Keep up the good work and good luck when he gets roommates.

Yes he is almost 12 inches.. do you sell these logs even bigger?:D He loves his house..

Wonderful Knife !

I hope it works out for me.. i don't want anyone picking on my knife.. but i think the O and the reddevil who are best of buddies may be happy in with knife..if not they go back where they were..thank you! Mine eats very well too..hikari cichlid pellets and arow pellets and frozen shrimps and frozen silversides .. but i try not to over feed him because i want him to grow natually .. not too fast ..

added my big pleco to his tank tonite..he was not happy..started to go after him.. then thought better of it..He has been alone so long ..i do not know if he thought he was food or just did not want to share his tank with anyone..all seems okay now,but occasionally he will cruise around him..

He did not appreciate the pleco at all..hope all is okay when i go down to feed..sooooon O and RD.. wish me luck.. :D

He is doing great Bruce ..except i did have to take the pleco out until i can get another big log.. the pleco did not want to give him any space and he would race around fuming... other then that everything is great.. he eats good and never bothers the sevs and vise versa.. it turned out to be a good choice with the severums..

so you ruled out the oscar, rd idea? bc I think that would have ended badly...
sevs are the ultimate cichlid... you can put them with just about anything it seems. from super aggressive fish to peaceful ones

Thank you..it seemed like a good idea in the very beginning since RD and Oscar are such buddies..but my CK is very important to me.. and i did not want anything bad to happen..took the safe route and everybody ended up happy ..even the pleco..:D And yes the severums are awesome..nothing bothers them..
