Tiger salamanders

I originally planned on pickup two or three only but when I got there and saw how big these guys were I couldn't resist. I ended buying five of the largest ones for $1 a piece :P . These guys ranged from 6 1/2-8" .

These are a little different from the ones I kept before. The spots on these guys are not as bold and big.

Anyways just got them home and they're still in their temporary home but all have eaten at least a cricket each already :P See for yourself in the following pics 8)

This should be it for while

Nice. I prefer the green and black tigers myself though. At the nature center where I vounteer, we have some spotteds and a marbled. Like mini tigers.

Sweet Tigers, I caught a pretty big one two years ago, was gonna keep it but didnt have anywere to put it. So I put it back were I found it two hours later, and the next month its whole habitat was flattened by construction. :(

A $ each!!! Bloody hell it would be cheaper for me to fly over to the US and buy them than get them in the UK.

Want to pay the biggest buck for animals come to the UK!!! We are well done over.

Maybe that is why they say we are the world's greatest animal lovers lol we must be to pay so much

(Oops rant over; nice salamanders by the way)

lol thanks

I was bored so decided to try feeding them using tong, they ate right off it with not a problem. Well their visions don't seem to be too good so sometimes it takes couple of snaps before getting the crickets and lobster roaches I was using:ROFL: BTW I love it when sometimes these guys would shake the prey items like monitor lizards would:headbang2
