today i acquired a new hybrid bass, its a sand bass and striped bass, is this common???

They stock that hybreed In just about every Lake in Kentucky : Thay taste very fishy not very good to eat. LOL ,PS. it gets very big good luck with your other fish they will be its food soon

Yep, white bass and striped hybrid. Not a very rare fish. Found live in many fish markets in NYC. Watch out for the rest of his tankmates if you're not keeping him solo. He'll have an appetite similar to that of full bred stripers.
