Yes it's a nuchal hump...I didn't see any Flowerhorns.
Polomax great looking fish as always. Especially the RT Mota.

You guys are confusing me..... Just F.H's have kok's? First it was a joke and I don't need the peanut gallery...Second you both seem to dissagree with your selves in this thread...

I like the gibbiceps. Nice looking fish. For all being in the same tank they're very clean.

i was meaning to post that there were in fact nuchal humps and not koks, but i decided not to after it was already posted, with all the hybrids and fh's running around anyways you can forget the fact, that the nuchal humps are in fact nuchal humps, and that kok's only are attributed to fh's and that sort, i am a member of a couple flower horn forums aswell, so it's easy to get mixed up.

Thanks. You have to overcrowd the tank alittle to spread the aggression. The adult cichlids in my 240g are more clean because they already established a pecking order and rarely fight anymore. For the growout tank like my 180g, a stable pecking order can never be established because the hierarchy changes constantly.

Agreed. I'm growing out several species in a 6' tank as well, and they're all vying for top dog so there are always some nipped fins.
