I use them a lot for my gars. They make a MESS out of the water, though.

Yeah you are right, but its cheaper than buying feeders all the time and safer. You said you feed your Gar sticks??That must have been hard to do??

i used to feed them to my cics, pretty good price, but they are really messy...even if you break them apart prior to feeding. my jags and fh would fill their mouth to max capacity and end upgrinding them an spitting them out over and over again

They are messy but I find that most fish even wild caught ones will take them with little problem.

Yeah, it was a long process, but now they will eat anything I give them.

Find a bait shop if you are set on feeders. Much cheaper...;).

Sticks aren't really a good idea for a staple diet, its better to have no one food as the staple diet. Constantly mix it up, don't let them get addicted to just one food type. ;)

Last night i bought 6 guppies because my pike is only 2 inches,he totally ignored the guppies and tried to eat a Black skirt Tetra instead,it seems he only wants feeders that are actually too big for him to eat. This pike is a real killing machine,he knocked off 6 Tetras in about 45 minutes.
