o.k., today after school me and my friends went to a local creek right...
and the creek is pretty murky, the color is green/gray and the deepest part is probably around 5'.
and there is a bridge around 15' from the water surface so we were scanning the area if there are any fish and sure enough i found couple black carps.
one of them was close to the shore, so i went down and checked it out like 3' away from me.
then the next thing i notice is a oddly familiar looking fish.
and the first thing i thought of it was a red snakehead.
so i called my friends over to check it out, and one of them is into fish so he said it was a snakehead also.
this is the discription of the fish that i saw: 4", has a line all the way from tail to face. the color was murky(same color as dA water) and i believe, seeing dots below the line.
there were 2 of this fish.
i am 80% sure that its a baby red snakehead. too bad i can't fish in dAt creek.
what do you guys think it was?
a bass, bluegill, trout?
oh yeah during the fall we get salmon there; the place where i saw the snakehead was silent but 30' away, there are STRONG currents.

o.k. i'll explain now, then...
well; this summer i went to south america for 7days right.
so i thought, south america, isn't this a great place to see the fish that i love!
so i talked to local villagers that are actually skilled anglers.
and after hours of driving(which i wasn't bored), we found an pirarucu(thankfully we had our tracker wit us)
anyways, we actually hooked the fish on, and they are strong fish, i mean STRONG so i had to get a stand for a my pole right.
and this fish was so intimidating, it kept on going in and out the vines so T.T. had to dive in and cut the vines(since i didn't want to lose this fish)
and i got out my camera to take pictures(and i think i had real nice pictures)
and when we were about to land this fish, the pirarucu(a.k.a. monkey eating fish; monkeys=primates who can JUMP) leaped in the air and it scared me so bad, i threw the camera(which i didn't mean to do) in to the river.
THE END...

all 3 diffrent expressions on 1face; that's wat happend to me.
If it is a snakehead DON'T tell anybody, you might even want to put a minnow trap in there, but since the ware was murky and you were 30' away it could have justas easily have been a juvie bass.

reds are orange/red without dots.
the color of the snakehead was murky because of the water.
i bet i can't see my colorful koi if i put them in there. they'll turn murky.

oh dA person who jumped in the water was T.T.; pirarucus are nothing to him.(they are like us and diving into a pool with 1oscar..what can i t do)
anyways what he is scared of is, man-eating catfish, stingrays, and electric eels.

I say Definately catch them anyway you can...even if you use a fishing pole. And if you get caught...just explain to them that you're helping the environment by removing unnatural fish. :grinyes:

Just BS it and tell him you saw some guy a couple of days ago release these fish and you tried to stop him, but it was too late and now you're trying to catch them before anything bad will happen to them and the environment.
