As they get older, the black arowana looks similar to a silver, but their fins are kind of a black/blue/gray color.

their body shape looks different, blacks are more streamline and the head is not quite as deep as a silver.

It looks to me as if it's a Silver Aro.
How much did you pay for it ? Because you would pay slightly more for a Black Aro than you would for a Silver Aro.

Fish store that I used to work at used to sell Blacks at that size for around $100.
