I'll be moving to Spain in a couple of months, taking all my fish and as it's going to be freezing I'm gunna need heat packs.

How do they work? Do I just put them straight in a poly box with the fish or?

How long do they last too?

I'm planning on simply putting the fish straight in the poly box, with a battery air pump and sponge filter, and a heat pack.

I would just use the new bags that allow oxygen to pass through them, we had a speaker at our club that told us that they had some fish in those bags for 6 weeks and they were fine.... hungry and thim but other than that they were fine.

I've never used heat packs so I can't give you any advice on them.

I've not seen these new bags, I'm not sure I can get them in the UK.

Only problem with bags is I want the water filtered, as there is going to be a lot of fish in there, and i don't want to starve them for 2 weeks :D

Starving for 2 weeks is a better option than feeding them and the extra waste that they will produce, I have never see a heat pack that released heat evenly, research them well before using them as the ones I have seen could cook your fish.
