Is it bad to feed your aros only live food(tuffys, goldfish)!?

Young aros are primarily insectivores. Try gut-loading a batch of feeder crickets to vary the diet. Once the aro is used to surface feeding, you can offer it floating carnivore sticks to help supplement minerals and nutrients missing from the live food. Older aros feed on fish, large insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and small mammals. In the aquarium, though, stick to feeder bait fish (goldfish are not good to feed them), large floating carnivore sticks, and large gut-loaded crickets.

my small one is picky as hell, but likes insects, and used to take the floating pellets. The big guy (24") LOVES beefheart, shrimp, krill, and pellets. He will also nail feeders, but i try to stay away from feeding live.
