the only reason that people say that is because they look the most like the wild ones

My wild oscar is a sweetheart...so i think it is just an individual fish personality and not the type that makes any difference.
yeh you can never say that."if you buy a tiger oscar he will be so much more aggressive than a red oscar" its all down to the personall fish... my dad has a tiger oscar hes aout 7.5" and he flairs at me when i go anyware nere the tank.. and hed do this for hours if i stood bnear that long.
