Planning to get a Datnoid

hey guys, ya see, i'm planning to get a datnoid/siamese tiuger? right? anyway.... it's about 3/4 inches and i'm planning to put it in a 75 gal. imma get a 300++ tank this christmas and if it grows big enough i'll put it there with my arowanas and knives... hehe! anyway, will the datnoid tolerate a 75 to its own? and how fast do they grow?
 
i would get a couple of them and grow them out in the 75g. they are pretty slow growers

you' re absolutely right.. i would get a couple or 3 like sma suggested but not a single fish
 
I agree with the other posts as well...get a few. If they are little guys, you may never see him if there is just one. I have a tank of 10 baby ITs and they are fantastic together.

They are mixed with Ctenopoma acutirostre, Nandus nandus, and Polycentrus schomburgkii...great little ambush predators.

Just a side note...make sure you familiarize yourself with the ID chart for datnoids. I see you mentioned getting an ST, and if you're going to pay the money for a true ST ($200-$300), make sure you're not getting ripped off.
