i was just curious if two thai dats(5")an australian arowana (7") are able to live in a 55 gallon tank 48x12x18 their whole lives ?
are 2 thai dats and a australian arowana too much for a 55 gallon tank ?

They might be fine at the moment, but do some research and see how big these fish can get. In a little while you won't even be able to house a single one of these fish in that tank. Your going to have to upgrade your tank or sell your fish. Good luck
you dont think it would even be big enough for just the dats i heard their only supposed to get up to 12 inches and are very slow growers
I believe your tank is 45 gallons, and datnoids can get up to 18" ( is the biggest i've seen in person.
That Dats should be ok in there for a few months but the arowana definately needs an upgrade soon.
