What size tank should I look for to group my four 10-13" Red Devils?

I'd go with a 125.

I have a 120, but it just doesn't see like they have enough leg room. they haven't been together before so I worried about crowding them.

I would go with as big as tank as you can afford. I reccomend at least a 150 gallon but the bigger the better.
It all depends on the aggression they have. Some are hyper-aggressive, some end up being almost docile. 120 should be fine.

as big a tank as you can afford. If you got the money, there's no reason not to get a 360g+. If you can only afford a 180g tho, thats better than a 120g at least.

Depending on how they interact with each other would better determine tank size. If they do not get along very well I don't think the jump from a 120 to a 150 will be significant enough to limit the agression. They should be fine in a 120 barring they all get along. If not good luck. Me and my girlfriend had a 120 with : a big texas, flowerhorn, midas, red devil, dovii, moto, red tail catfish and a random african.. the cichlids were all 5-8 inches and all got along fine.. but now I have a 125 with half the amount of fish and there is constant fighting.
