I got my first decal from a guy I bought a 75 gallon off of in July 2006. Now October 2007 I have 9 decals.:)

I've only been for a few weeks and it's amazing the buzz over these stickers and other merch. I know someone could make some coin here selling these things. I guess that keeps the demand up. Hey admins I'm sure u guys could use the money to better the site or line your pockets.

It's not politics, it's time/energy I believe. Pat only got his because he's local to neoprodigy and see's him like every other weekend. The person who has these stickers I believe is just low on time/energy to send them out not to mention 40cents postage times 20,000 people adds up.. and actually for more than one sticker it would be more than that for postage, they're thick stickers w/heavy backing.

Other people who got them originally got them a long time ago probably when the original Monster packets were going out to select people to hand out.

I don't think you guys will be paying for stickers. I think merchandise that will be for sale coming is stuff like t-shirts. Even if you did pay for stickers it would be menial to cover something like shipping costs. Neoprodigy nor anyone else is trying to get rich here.

Back in 2005 We printed 5,000 tank decals, 5,000 car decals and 5,000 bracelets. also over 10,000 flyiers. and its free to any of our members. Not once we have ask for any of our members pay for shipping or the items, even if they are International members.

We only have a limited supplies left for conventions and meet. We are planning to another drive in 2008. so stay tune. :)

I would gladly pay for the sticker's cost, postage, and time spent going into it. I don't see how that is unfair.

I used to have over 300 stickers on my first car, but none of them were MFK ones, sadly:(. Now I have a new car and it is prime real estate for some fresh stickers, and since I don't have anymore skate stickers saved up from when I was 12, I think a MFK one would be nice for a change.

I really would love some decals, I would also love some decals of ZOOYORK's avatar.

I had the entire xbox done out with the knife extending across the side, but that one got the red ring of death (it was from a couple months after the launch date and I played it every day) so I used AXE and wiped it all off for fear they (microsoft) would void my warranty if I sent in an xbox that had sharpie all over it. I still have the faceplate left, and here's a picture of it. I used black, light green, dark green, light blue, pink and a reddish orange on the basic faceplate that comes with the 360.

I really wanted it to be better, but its difficult to draw on something so oddly shaped, it distorts the picture somewhat.

The point is I think to make it's a no cost/no purchase deal.. That away it's not something that takes $ to get.

I can understand someone asking. But when you start taking cheap shots saying people have been waiting too long, more arguments for printing your own.. you start to sound like you're more hear for the sticker than the site.. supposed to be the other way around.

Trademark's are implied, they don't have to be posted on the product. Just because you don't put TM on something you make means I can have it?

print a background for your tank or a wallsized poster with http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ but you gotta find a good quality jpeg of the mfk logo or else it will look blurry or pixelated

That's exactly what I've been wondering. Although I just joined this site, I have seen the decals and have always wanted to be a "Monster Fish Keeper!" Suddenly I woke up, looked in my basement bar and behold - a monster fish tank had appeared! But it looks barren without a monster decal to adorn it.

I can understand someone asking. But when you start taking cheap shots saying people have been waiting too long, more arguments for printing your own.. you start to sound like you're more hear for the sticker than the site.. supposed to be the other way around.

Get over it. Become a contributing member of this site and wait it out.

Many people postwhore, and post useless posts all of the time, I do not look at peoples post counts, I look at peoples quality posts instead of the quanity. If I did, I might as well be listening to a 10 year old kid who does not know the difference between saltwater fish and freshwater fish, LOL.

Maybe an user has been a long time member, but only posts QUALITY posts now and then over the span of few years and only have 500 posts versus the another member who has contributed 15,000 posts and 14,999 of them has been pointless. Now which one is the better candiate. I've seen this so many times over 10 years on different forums. They come and go. This site might not be here within a year or two. I just dont bother wasting my time/breath to try to gain my post count. Most of us is guilty of that. Lets just not judge people by the time they joined or the quanity of their posts but the quality of em.

And for my part, I have no desire to have those "stickers" right now as I do not have the "mosterfish" bug yet, I joined out of curiousity for those huge clown loaches that comes up now and then in the wild as my speciality is more of the micro fish though people would kill me if they found out that I still have a 380g tank in my grandmothers basement- EMPTY.

Lets just be nicer to others and not just put down others as its a huge turn off to those who just went into this thread curious what the heck people are talking about.... just like I.

this Is great advice. I love the Aquarium Hobby and since I joined this site (not that long ago) I have learned a large amount about it I never would have known from my present sources. this site has set off the drive to continue and grow on this hobby and I am now setting up my 4th tank. in most minds its no Monster But I started 5 years ago with a 20G then added a 33G 3 years ago. I followed it up with a 56G last spring and I now have my first 100G tank. I hav gotten the opertunity to pass on some great knowledge learned from this site to some friends who where gonna drop it because they kept loosing all their fish. Now they are excited about it also and we are comparing our tanks and our successes and failures now with great enthusiasm. I dont deserve a Sticker Yet But I am learning and spreading the word of this wonderful site. one day I will consider myself a Monster Fish Keeper but until then I will absorb all the info I can off this site. and when the time comes I will display the sticker proudly. until then I will enjoy the site and all that it has to offer because I know for sure it has saved the lives of many of my fish. I had one on my car and one on my tank, but my neighbor keep insisting that I give him the decal. I told him that one he got a monster fish and had plans for a monster tank I would give it to him. Now he has a rtc and we are building his 750 gal tank in his basement. So now he has the decal on his 75 gal that I gave him with the decal attached. I am building a 200 gal to replace that tank. Maybe in the future I will come upon another decal to replace it, but if not I can always run across the street to look at it. Maybe someone will be generous enough to give me another after I get my 3500 gal tank built.

Back in 2005 We printed 5,000 tank decals, 5,000 car decals and 5,000 bracelets. also over 10,000 flyiers. and its free to any of our members. Not once we have ask for any of our members pay for shipping or the items, even if they are International members.

We only have a limited supplies left for conventions and meet. We are planning to another drive in 2008. so stay tune. :)

There's only 6 months left of 2008 so it has to be soon! I can't wait! :D

I guess they only believe certain people deserve to truly call themselves (or be called) ]v[ONSTER FISH KEEPERS. I'm sure I'm not one, being that my largest fish is a 10" Oscar. He'll get bigger (less than a year old), but lets face it, in the grand scheme of things an Oscar isn't really all that ]v[ONSTER.

As annoyed as you guys are.. It's not about anyone being not ]V[onster enough, not about anyone being more deserving. It's also not about selling them even if you could make $20.00 a peice. It's not about the money at all.

I have to agree with "lazybones", and I feel everyone missed his point, especialy "WyldFya"

The length of ur membership and ur post count shouldn't mean anything, I've been a member for a month and have a post count of 41, but I'm on here every night, but like "lazybones" I have no desire for a sticker or decal, I just think there could be a better sytem to distribute them equally

as for the greedy decal owners who keep rubbing it in, relax a lil. it's great u own decal, just leave it at that, wether it's just a sticker or not, u don't have to make it seem like ur better than everyone else

you know, buying bulk clear decals is going to cost you AT LEAST $250 in most cases. Even if you get the minimum order.

My site is working on this now and it's quite an investment. So, just realize that you'd pay $5 each for these if you did it on your own (AND you'd have to buy at least 50 of them, :lol: )

ok. This was the most frusterating thread to read as i am sure 60% of the posters just read the last page and make a quick reply.

For those doing that right now. ----- Decals and stickers are planned on being made and sent out. However, please for the love of all monster fish and the sanity of those people (like me) that read every comment in a thread before responding don't just chime in with "i want one, how do i get one?"
When the time comes, there will be a thread about it or a totally different area.
Those of you that do have them, good for you
pls don't brag.
