Not really sure either,it seems that most of the breeders make up their own names as they turn out.With the red and the clean sides it could have some syn. blood.Who did you get it from?

There's no such name such as flowerless flower horn... as we observe like the
MALAYSIAN RED DIAMOND FLOWER HORN this flower horn have white flower and not black and its surrounded by pearls... All
FADED FLOWER HORN doesn't have flowerlines.

Aren't there only a few names that are universally accepted anyways? When someone says ZZ or kamfa or RD or SRT I know what they're talking about, but when you say malaysian red diamond I have no idea what that is...

KGM = KING OF THE GOLDEN MONKEY
GM = GOLDEN MONKEY
KGBLUE = KING OF THE GOLDEN BLUE DRAGON
SRS = SUPER REDSYN
SGS = SUPER GOLDSYN
RG = RED GENERAL
ZZ = ZENZOU
SRD = SUPER RED DRAGON
KB = KING BACARA
DF = DRAGON KAMFA
KD = KAMALAU DRAGON
POTO = PEARL OF THE ORIENT
and many many more:
I can't write all of it due to many kinds of it. but if you really want to know it then I will.
MRD = Malaysian Red Diamond. it is a flower horn full of redness, pearl all over the body even the fins are in superb redness actually it doesn't like a red shock but some sort of SRD but the redness is much better...
it's look like this. A female MRD paired up to very aggressive SRS.

this guy above me has no clue.
red diamond?
clearly that is a zz red DRAGON
nad saying there is no flowerless flowerhorns? im pretty sure alot of gm don't have flowrs, and i have seen flowerless ones
people just make up names for more money. gem core breeding? sounds like a corp thats all about more money.
i try to categorize flower horns into simple categories, in these categories there are sub strains like indo and such, but generlly all fh fall into these
zz
kamfa
srt
red shock/ rm
gm
i like to think of fortune fish as flowerhorns even though the breeders say they arn't just bc

how you make the kamfa strain is by crossing a kingkong parrot to any of the fertile flowerhorn strains. kamfas then usually turn out infertile. ur fish looks like it was a ZZxKKP in attempt to make kamfa, but came out like this. its body stucture and color <except for face> would fall under ZZ. and it would seem this fish's face is deff of parrot orgin. ur fish dosn't really have enough chariteristics to fall under kamfa or zz category so it would probally be considered a flowerhorn parrot, like the many that are popping up the market in california now

I'm not talking about the physical appearance. We all know that there are now too many flowerless flower horns which is simply called as Faded flower horns. I think that you're talking about the physical appearance if I'm right... well definitely it's wrong I'm talking about the Kinds of Flower Horns...
Zz Red Dragon??? I don't think so...
let me give you some sort of example: if a red dragon FH fry are become matured and some of them are look like Super RedSyn will you call it a Super RedSyn FH?? definitely not.
A Red Diamond is still a Red Diamond even its changes its appearance. "Changes appearance is not the reason to change also the name or the breed of the FH"
another example:
If I'll show you both Flowerhorn that is look like a Red Dragon FH and both of them are look the same but one of them is a fry of a Super RedSyn FH, will you also call it a Red Dragon FH? definitely not.

Let me ask you a question...
Where does the FlowerLess Flowerhorn originated??? (I'm talking about the breed of FH not the appearance). Where did they get the parents called Flowerless Flowerhorns. In Standard kind of FH Flowerless are not included. In physical appearance we have too many flowerless flower horns but in such breed hmmmp. I don't think so... Maybe there's a misinterpretation.. There are too many generations of FH even names of FH are now expanding. by the way, let us make this simple... A FLOWERLESS FLOWER HORN IS SIMPLY CALLED AS PEARL/FADED FLOWERHORN.
by the way:
SRS
SGS
KGM
and so and so fort...
that written above is just make the name more simple... I think this is the reason that makes you confused. well it's just a short term.
Have a Nice Day & GoodLuck!!!
Thank You!

There has always been unmarked flowerhorns, vey nice clean looking fish, they were called "mermaids" when the first hit the market a couple of years back.
Even a JK does not have a flowerline.........................

Guessing the physical category of a flower horn is possible but guessing the breed of the FH is difficult... a Red Dragon fry can change its apearance to another breed but the breed doesn't change, still it's a Red Dragon if he/she looks like a Red Buddha or something. As we see there are so many flower horns that doesn't have flower lines... I always repeat this I'm talking about the breed not the appearance. Understood??? again... too many flower horns that doesn't have flower lines, yes we all know that. even newbie may also know that... but before writing your violent reactions or something please understand what is written. like others said: They saw flower horns that doesn't have flower lines, yes we know that. and then what's the point of saying that??? FLOWERLESS BREED???!!! how's that so happen... example: a Red Dragon Flower Horn Fry can morph into flowerless flowerhorn or simply called as faded flowerhorns because faded is the official call for flowerless FH, back to my topic a red dragon can have flowerless lines. why I'm saying that, based on my own experience breeding flower horns since 1998-2007. our Red Dragon Fry's changes its color into yellow but still it is a red dragon...
any comments or any violent reactions or suggestions is welcome.
thank you...

Dude, aren't flowerhorns just a hadgepodge of cichlids? all they are based on is looks, nobody is doing blood tests on them.
In fact isn't the entire naming process from colors and looks? I thought we don't know which ones made the first flowerhorns.
This is stupid I don't care if a flowerhorn is actually one certain thing or another, I just want a good looking one.
How can you be a purist on a fish that isn't even pure, none of this makes sense, I am going to go put my head in a microwave.
