hey everyone I finally got pics of my new royal clown knife last night.. he is eating a little bit everyday but still hasn't settled in yet. I think he will come around though.. He is a solid 8" lond maybe longer but can't get a good measurment. has a great pattern on him as you can see.. I don't know how anyone can think that regular clown knives can be more beautiful but I understand everyone has their own opinion and tastes.. hope you enjoy feel free to ask questions if you have them.. thanks

Nice royal. Looks to be about the same size as mine. One of these days I hope to be able to get some good pics of him. I just added some more deco to his 200 so hopefully he will feel more secure and start venturing out. I'll post pics as soon as I get some decent enough to post.

What is the full size of Royals? Is there much difference besides pattern in Royals and regular Clowns?

Everything I have seen shows that royals should get roughly 36" just like regular clowns are capable of.

if you got a big tank just get one and learn as you go.. they are pretty easy as far as fish go just give them good water and some room and they are pretty content.

Great looking royal. Much better contrast than many I've seen. Wouldn't want one with weak lines. Yours is splendid!

thanks again everyone, I am not sure but I think he is starting to get cloud eye and that might be why he is not eating a whole lot.. His eyes are kind of hazey and if a piece of food floats right to him he eats it but if not he won't.. I do a 30% water change weekly and all my parameters are spot on. Could it just be from the move and what should I do.. my last one had cloud eye and then he died so I don't want to make the same mistake.. all other fish are fine

I use to have a 10" Royal, but it died while I was away for a 3 month intership  It was a cool fish. I love both Clowns and Royals. I would love to get another one, but buying one at the size that it was would cost too much and I don't really have the room anymore.
