anyone had these b4? i have 3 that are about 8 to 9 " super nice looking. wondering if anyone has them too maybe we can talk more about them.

Mine are around 2-3" so they still got lots of growing :headbang2

How do you get them to live in fresh water? surley they should be in brackesh then full salt as adults.

Dead right, they migrate into freshwater to spawn and the fry move to the sea as they get older.Although they will survive in freshwater for a while, you will notice a difference in their behaviour and this is when marine salt needs to be added. If not,not a very long life.

Ive been thinking about getting one, But i think my Marble cat might eat him.

i'll post pics when i learn how to i think i need to uplaod them then used the ulr? i donno.

yeah mine are in tropical water righ tnow. i ws thinking of giving them their own 50 gal brackish water tank. but i dont want to stress them out.
since ive bought them i never took then out of the tank. so ther never been touched! i know if i net them there fins will rip and get all ugly. so i donno.

if i do decided to? do i set up the brackish water first? then land them? or add the salt slowely? and how much salt will i need for a 50 gallon tank.

and whats the specific gravity for these guys? i will do reserch if you guys dont know. but i thought i'd ask cuz im sure one of yourguys would know

thanks!

Are they also known as Silver Tip Sharks or is that a different species?
