That is the light i am using. Do you think it will work? Is to to low powered? Does not say how many K's on the box..

The light about 2 inches from aquarium water.

The plants in there are an Anubias Nana and Amazon Sword. Fish: 1 bala shark, 1 red-tailed shark (20 gallon tank, grow out tank for bala)

I also bought seachem flourish when should i start to fertilize? Should i just dose once weekly or twice?

I've never really had real plants in any of my aquariums having worried about the whole CO2 story and never having fish that would go in a planted tank well haha. Iv'e recently set up a snakehead tank and i've started to collect quite a few live plants (low spec easily maintained ones, atleast that's what the lfs said).

My question seems a little stupid to me but here goes:

I've noticed all your planted tanks have really thin substrate levels, the plants i have bought have come in a small plastic holder and foam, do I keep the plant in that state and simply try bury it (like i have and subsequently have a really thick layer of substrate), or do i remove the plants to expose the roots and actually plant it?? :nilly:
