Hey guys,

Ive had this crayfish for about 9 months, I'm not sure what breed it is, I've been told Australian Red claw but the thing seems really small for a red. Right the crayfish is at best 5", it eats large massivore pellets and shrimp. I moved it from my 90 to a 10g for now because i find it wasnt eating enough (this was done 1 month ago).

I was wondering if anybody could confrim or perhaps correct the ID of my crayfish, also if anybody knows how fast these things should be growing?<img src="http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=924200&d=1371577535&thumb=1" border="0" alt="Click image for larger version.

bought it at my LFS a few hours ago, all they could tell me was that it is a "great white lobster". I googled online and saw that they usually go for around $30-$50 so for $19 i figured it would be a great addition to my tank as I have guppies that are top swimmers and this is basically a bottom feeder. I purchased some Veggie Rounds sinking tablets and it devoured the thing in less than a minute. Anywho, I need help identifying the species and most importantly the SEX. I googled and saw that you can tell by the rings on the 3rd leg if female, and 5th leg if male. Problem is I cant tell. I appreciate the help and thanks in advance to everyone :)
I figure the shrimp won't be a threat to each other and have multiple perches for him. I've kept one years ago and would like to give it another go.
Attached is a picture of the tank.

I was just wondering if there are any ways to make some land for it to climb out on to without changing the aquarium to much and to not slide the gravel up the side of the tank.

Anyhow, last time I thought they were having sex turns out one of them was eating the other one, with the half eaten corpse as evidence. This doesn't look like that, but they have been doing this all day, and moving around a LOT in this exact position.....is this snail hanky panky??

Sorry the pictures need to be rotated 90 (see water line) and im too lazy to unpost and what not.
