Would a 125 gallon be ok for a LMB? If not, how long would it be able to stay in the 125 and what is the Min. for an adult? Is room temperature ok for them?

I would catch a baby and then keep it probably. How big would it get in captivity and how large of a tank for an adult?

Had my LMB since fry and 15 months later my 150gal looks pretty small. As an adult I would recomend a 300+ gal

I noticed you have another thread in this forum asking basically the same question and people have answered already. Try bumping your thread next time if you want people to read and respond.

For two, big. Pray they aren't both males or you will have 1.

I raised a large mouth bass when I was a kid and then when it got to big for the tank I took it to my local lake. Good luck and have fun learning all about raising a bass. It is fun.

You probably could keep the bass up until they hit the 16-18" mark, provided you have very good filtration and have switched them off of live or messy foods. A well fed, 18" bass makes for a nice meal ;)

I can't possibly think of eating a fish which I have raised from a young age. To depressing for me...:(

lol..

I do it regularly.

I really want to raise some muskies, smoked musky is 10x better than smoked wild caught Alaskan salmon, but I just can't bring myself to keep any muskies I catch, they're too few in number to justify keeping any.
