Male or female festae?

This is one if those tough ones. I've had a couple males just like this one. I say give it more time to finish coloring up. Or vent it;)

To me if the vent says male then I'd vote male on this guy. See how the yellow from the fish's body extends up into the dorsal? I can't say I ever seen a female have that, they usually have a solid black dorsal. You should listen to Jason though, let the fish grow up a little more and re-evaluate. Nice looking little guy though!

The way I tell gender with festae is, if the tail has blue spanglings, and the dorsal fin is not black, it's a male and vise versa.

Oh the tail does has blue spangle. With solid black dorsal. The venting tells me male. Vent has 2 small hole. But face structure looks male as well. Just the black dorsal throws me off.
