I originally thought barred midas when it was tiny but the bars have pretty much faded out and there seems to be a bunch of green pearling developing on the rear flanks. I will keep this thread updated as it grows. It was showing a bunch of Syn-like rose color behind the gills today.

Growing fast, nls and algae wafers seem to be helping it color up.

Good looking fish. I think it's a good chance it's a syn x bp or syn x midevil.

You can get a fish like that from crossing anything. It makes no sense trying to guess it's lineage. You get alot of vieja traits from parrot crosses. I've culled a great many fish like that when breeding for rt and to me it looks like alot of those parrot traits are on this fish.

It's not fading and it isn't a rose queen though.
