Here are my current fishes: (250 gal tank)
16" Asian arowana
10" birchir
7" diameter stingray
10" diameter Blue hook
6" diameter red hook
6" oscar
11" knife fish

I was aiming to get 9 total fishes in my tank, i was hoping for some suggestions and compatibility advice.

I was hoping to add a datnoid, but I am only able to find 3-4" ones which i think would be fish food :(...

List of fish available in our fish stores which are decent in size
1.) red tail catfish
2.) pleco
3.) Alligator gar
4.) florida/spotted gar
5.) sexfasciatus
6.) tinfoil barb
7.) red mammon
8.) clown loach

I was thinking of adding a red tail catfish and sexfasciatus but I'm not sure about their compatibility w/ my other fishes

Red tail cat will outgrow your tank after eating everything in it
Pleco can work, serious poop machines, some say they suck the slime coat of a Bircher, not my experience
Have no experience with gars
Sexfaciatus may work
Tin foils should be kept in groups of 6, become big quickly
No experience with red mammon
Clowns should also be kept in groups of 6

No red tailed gets too big eat everything else
Pleco releases lots of bioload not fun
Alligator gar gets too big try spotted or Florida maybe if u want smaller recommend grow out with other fish before introduce so it gets into a community mood and isn't too hostile
Sexfiatus no experience
Tinfoil barb are schooling so no room cause they big
Same with clown loaches
Red mammon is good if it's big and they aren't too aggressive
Also u could try a peacock bass maybe

peacock bass isn't really readily available in my area, specially my size requirements, I only see them at about 3-4 inches max in stores
