I just picked up my tank yesterday. It was nerve wrecking getting it in the house, but all went well. Need to work on the plumbing now

Nice cabinetry around the tank. Really nice. Lighting covered up. Sump covered. Drains are silent?

Thanks man! First time building anything from wood. It's not totally silent, had to use 90's on the drains. The lighting is just a led strip zip tied under a vinyl gutter. Probably upgrade later

Looks nice - really good for first time.

I have 90 degree PVC on my set-up - that may or may not be the root cause for your noise. Mine isn't "dead silent" - I hear more of the low hum from my closed loop circulation pump and fan on my T5 HO than I do from the internal overflow drains to the sump and return plumbing. I have a herbie style (but with a third, dry, stand-by drain).
