There is two kinds of cichlids refered to as Texas cichlids.

Carpintis (green) and cyanoguttatus. I've only seen one or two sites refer to cyanoguttatus as "blue Texas".

From what I've seen online carpintis are typically called "carpintis" and cyanoguttatus is typically called "Texas cichlid"

As ehh said, there are 2 species referred to as Texas, but calling carpintus a Texas is really a false name, because carpintus don't come from Texas, although they look similar and are from the same genus, Herichthys. Only H. cyanoguttatus is a true Texas cichlid.
Here is carpintus (actually (to me) more blue than green)
