    Honestly, big dogs will and can eat almost anything, sounds to me like you're worrying a bit too much. My big Boxer Wolfhound X gets kibble as a base and then raw beef bones/leftovers/chicken drumsticks. My girlfriends dog will only eat rice, he's pretty healthy digestive wise as well.

    There's not any food left over in the night for him to eat most of the time. But I feel like he must be because he's not getting thinner.
