I'm planning on starting a fowlr tank with triggers, angels, tangs and maybe an eel or a shark.

So tell me how would you stock a 300 gallon fowlr?

Starfish and puffers don't play together.

I'll agree on everything else.

Disagree. I have a red general star with a dogface puffer in a tank I service for over three years and no issue. I think it's a matter of keeping the puffer well fed and limiting his need to prey on other animals. Starfish aren't on the menu for them in the wild.

I had a porcupine that hunted down every starfish that hitch hiked on my live rock in a week using the water jet method. I fed it until it had a nice full belly.

Porcupine puffers are a little different than dogfaces in my experience. I've found them to be way more active hunters. Dog faces (every species I've kept) seem to be less active hunters and more about waiting to be fed.

Nice list, I'd skip the shark just my opinion. Crosshatch trigger is a beauty, I had harlequin tusk that would be able to hang with that list and had great coloring on it
