It's not easy for most people or other "regular" fish keepers to understand why we maintain this type of collection and spare no expense on this fascinating hobby.

Hopefully, through this site and discussion forums we can encourage the next generation of Monster Fish Keepers to have the same passion and love we have for the hobby and our Monster Fish .

      The direct sunlight is going to a big problem in terms of algae growth.

      Here's a cool pic of the tank seen from the inside of the residence property. The blue background is the bay across the street from the residence.

      From the site:

      An engineer and businessman in Cesme put a huge aquarium in his house's garden in place of the garden wall. It is amazing and can not be described, you must see it. There are about a thousand fishes including 7 species. The aquarium is app. 50 m. (164 ft) long. It is an incredible project. The water is taken from the sea by a continous cycle. The maintenence is made with great attention. The house is over the hill in Fenerburnu and many visitors come to see this beauty. The view is from the inner garden of the house.

      I hope there arent any skittish fish in there with all that must be going on around it. Shame its only 7 species with all that space though....

      You can stock the tank with whatever you want. I checked around and found out that the house is on the market.
